Self-Love Collection

Art

The Self-Love Collection is finally live! This collection is very important to me. I’ve been considering releasing something like this for a while, and I finally put in the work to make it happen.

The Self-Love Collection was born out of my own desire to love myself more. As a woman, I often felt the need to give everything I could to others, without taking care of myself. I rarely put myself first and because of this, I spent many years focusing on the needs of others, and not my own. Over time this impacted me physically, and my body let me know enough was enough. I had my first panic attack back in March of 2021, and after that scary moment, I decided to focus on taking care of myself and loving myself more.

This collection is a reminder that we should love ourselves more, because when we prioritize self-love, we can show up as the best version of ourselves. Our overall health consists of more than just our physical health. We should be including our mental and emotional health in this equation as well. When we attempt to consider these areas of our lives when thinking about our health, we set ourselves up to find inner peace, enjoyment and happiness in our life.

When we are clear about our life’s mission, self-love will allow us to set boundaries, prioritize self-care, and will help us ensure our happiness is aligned with our life’s mission. Since our ability to love others is directly tied to our ability to love ourselves, we are better equipped to build meaningful connections and relationships with others when we are filled to the brim with self-love. Those of us who are nourished by self-love are able to love others well out of our overflow, and contribute to our communities in a positive way. Self-love is a foundational building block of our existence. It is critical that we prioritize self-love so everything else we are doing in our lives will be built on a firm foundation. When our foundation is strong and secure, our overall sense of well-being and wholeness improves.

This is an ongoing collection, so I will be creating a few pieces like this once or twice a year. To see the full collection, visit my portfolio page.

Thank you for following my journey and for supporting my dreams!
